Write a letter to your sister advising her to take part in cultural program in school annual day function

Your last letter is just to my hand and I had a wonderful time reading it. Today, I am writing this letter to inform you about the recently held annual day of our school.

The annual day function was held on the first Monday of the year on 2nd January. A large podium was created in the school assembly hall. The Director of AIIMS was the chief guest on the occasion. A cultural show was also conducted where students of class 9 and 10 presented folk dances, drama and small plays.

Our Principal Sir read out the annual report for the last year after the cultural show. Next, the chief guest gave an inspiring speech to motivate the students followed by distributing prizes to the meritorious students.

Lastly, the students and guests were served tea and snacks. It was a well organized function and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

I have nothing to add today. Do write to me in your free time.
