Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of flat no 5, 2nd floor of Golan Heights apartment in Anand Nagar, Pune. This letter is to your inform about a daring dacoity that took place last night in our flat.

A sudden loud sound woke up me and my wife at around 1 pm. We were shocked to see three armed person approaching us, breaking the front door. Pointing the weapon at me, they demanded the keys of the almirah. I had no other option other than handing it over to them.

Then they tied us up and started searching the house. They took whatever valuables they could find and some cash worth 30,000. They seized the gold jewelry and ornaments worth 2 lakhs from the almirah locker too. There was no one else in the 2nd floor of our apparment last night. We were set free by our neighbors only next morning.

I would earnestly request you to look into the matter, inspect my flat and make every effort to catch the burglars with the cash and valuables. Your quick action will be highly appreciated.
