Write a letter to your neighbour complaining about the problems created by his pet dog

Having a pet dog can be a wonderful event in the life of a person but at the same time one must ensure that it does not become a cause of complaint or problems for the neighbors. If the owner of the dog has the right to keep it, it also has the duty to keep it under control. This is a simple letter to your neighbor complaining about the problems created by his pet dog. The letter can be modified according to need and preference.

Dear ABC,

I am writing this letter to bring to your notice that your pet dog has become a source of immense disturbance for us. More often than not, it crosses over the fence, destroys our plants and spoils the garden with poop. It barks profoundly without provocation and is quite aggressive in nature.

Last fortnight, it was chasing the local newspaper delivery boy. It even bit Mr. Sharma’s son last a few days earlier. The Children of the locality are afraid to play outside in the evening because of your dog.

I understand it's like a family member to you and you reserve the right to keep it. But it is also improper to harass the colony in this manner. I will suggest you to not let it roam freely in your compound. Even if it does roam free, please make sure that it does not enter into our compound or loiter in the colony.

I hope you will respect and address our grievances.

                                                                                                Yours Truly,
