Dear ABC,
I hope you are keeping a good health. It was nice to hear from you after a long time. Since it is the Diwali weekend, I am writing this letter to tell you about what I love about Diwali.
I love everything about Diwali. Right from the wait and the anticipation to the vibrant lights and diyas. The colorful light spiraling down building and rooftops are a visual treat. It almost seems like the dazzling lights have given a life of it's own to the buildings. The night sky, illuminating spectacularly with sparkling firecrackers, takes you to a whole new world altogether. Light doesn't discriminate between the rich or poor. It just showers it's blessings on one and all alike.
Festivities like Diwali are enjoyed most by the children. The smiles it brings on their innocent faces are priceless and worth more than gold. It’s a once in a year celebration and fills our heart with memories for the rest of the life. It is occasions like these that makes life worth it and one must make all the effort to enjoy it till it lasts.
More than anything, the celebration of Diwali signifies the celebration of good over evil. It commemorates the homecoming of Shri Ram and Mata Sita after a 12 year long exile. For me, nothing beats the emotions attached with this divine symbolic representation.
That’s all, for today. I hope to meet you soon. Convey my best wishes to your parents.
