An art competition can provide an opportunity for students to showcase their artistic talents and creativity. This can boost their confidence and help them develop important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. It can foster a sense of community and school spirit, bringing together students, teachers, and parents in a shared celebration of art. This is a simple letter to Principal to organize a school-wide art competition. The letter can be modified according to need and preference.

Subject: Permission for organizing art competition in school

Sir/Madam,

As class monitor of Standard 8, I am writing to request that a school-wide art competition be organized on the occasion of World Art Day, which is celebrated annually on April 15th. The competition would be open to all students, from class 6 to 10, and would provide a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their artistic skills and creativity.

The competition can be based on the theme of "Illustrating Your Dreams" which would allow the students to use their imagination and create unique pieces of art. This competition is sure to generate a lot of interest and participation from students, as they enjoy expressing themselves through art.

It would also promote a sense of community and team spirit within the school. To make the competition more exciting, I suggest offering prizes for the top three entries in each category. These prizes can be as simple as art supplies or even certificates of achievement.

I believe that organizing a school-wide art competition on World Art Day would be a great way to celebrate creativity and provide a platform for our students to showcase their talent. Thank you for considering my request.

                                                                                                Yours Faithfully,

                                                                                                 Your Name

                                                                                                Class monitor, (6-A)
