I am thrilled to hear from you today. It is really great to know that you intend to visit Jim Corbett National Park next month. It will be great to have you in the town.
The nearest city from the park is Ramnagar, approximately 5 km away. You would have to get down at the Ramnagar Railway station if you intend to travel by train. On the other hand if you wish to come by air, you can board a flight to Patnagar airport which is situated at a distance of 80 km form Nainital.
We have made a wise decision to come here in December as the best time to visit the Park is from mid November to mid June. I would strongly recommend paying a visit to the Dhanghari museum to get valuable information on the park as well as the life of Jim Corbett. Jim Corbett NP is famous for its Royal Bengal Tiger and booking a morning jeep safari would give you the best chance to get a glimpse of the majestic creature.
I would love to have you here at my house but since you are on a tight schedule, I wouldn’t put you in a difficult situation. But, I can definitely help in arranging for a comfortable stay in a nearby home stay. Do bring your camera for capturing some amazing moments in the forest environment.
