Dear ABC,
I am overjoyed to receive your letter today. I really cannot believe that you plan to visit my town next month. It will be fun to have you around.
Being your first visit to Dargeeling, I am pretty sure that you are going to enjoy your stay here. You are going to notice a stark contrast from your place at Mumbai. Since you are here for a week, I would love to invite you at my home for a night stay.
If your itinerary is not fixed yet, I would love to recommend a few places to visit. The Teesta River is a great place for some river rafting. You can also enjoy delightful ride on the famous Toy trains of Darjeeling. Tiger Hill is also another popular tourist attraction, especially for its gorgeous morning view.
This winter is expected to be chillier than normal. So, bring some warm clothes for a comfortable stay. Also, don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the beautiful views of the tree plantations and mountains.
