Through the
columns of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of the
concerned authorities on the matter of traffic jam caused by stray animals. It
is a common site to see domesticated animals like cows and dogs roaming around
freely in the middle of the road during busy hours in our locality.
As a result, there are frequent traffic jams cost by the unwanted movement of the stray animals. The pedestrians have to face lot of difficulties in other to make their way through the main road increase chances of accident because of blockage. In spite of warning about the matter to the local authorities many times, no steps has been taken as of yet on their part.
Therefore, I request the concerned authorities to make appropriate effects to catch the stray animals for rehabilitation. Any step would be highly welcome to get rid of our road free from this menace.
