Sir/Madam,

Road safety is a matter of serious concern as it is deals with the life of people. A number of people are either killed or seriously injured in road accidents every day. In the Last five years, 825 have lost their life and 782 accidents have taken place in the city as per government data.

Keeping in mind the importance of road safety, district administration has decided to implement no helmet no petrol rule from 15th May. Anybody not following the rule will be strictly fined by the concerned authority. It is a highly commendable initiative which deserves a lot of praise.

People should give their full support to make the initiative a grand success. It can also become a great role model for other cities to follow and make their city accident free.

                                                                        Yours Faithfully,

                                                                         Anil
