Dear ABC,
I hope you are keeping a good health. I just came to know yesterday from aunty that you are putting too much stress on yourself as your exams are approaching. Studying 14 to 15 hours a day, sitting at one place, is not the ideal thing to do.
There is no denying the fact that board exams are very important and you are expected to score handsomely for a better career ahead. But simultaneously, it is also important to keep a good health during exams in order to score good marks. Spending hours after hours, without any break, mugging up chapters put a lot of pressure on your brain and increases your anxiety level.
In our eagerness to score good marks, we sometime tend to overlook the importance of rest in our preparation. It is extremely important to let the mind relax and process the barrage of information which is only possible in a stress free environment.
What I would rather suggest you to do is to take frequent small breaks in between study sessions. You can use this time to devote to your hobby or to just walkabout and breathe in the fresh air. This should help you to relax and decrease your anxiety level to perform better in your exams.
Please
don't be so harsh on yourself and relax a bit. I know you are a sincere student
and I'm confident that you will score good marks in the coming exam. Hope to
see you soon.
Yours Truly,
