I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirit. It has been a long time since I have heard from you.
I am writing this letter to invite you and your family for our house warming party. We have decided to follow the party on 19 December which is a Sunday. As you know it took a long time for us to shift to a city like Mumbai and adjust to the new place. But, finally it seems like we have managed to set everything in place.
Therefore, we thought of inviting our friends and family to the party so that we can have a small get together at our place. Since, it is a new place it is taking a little more time than usual. Mum and Dad have got busy in their preparation.
Dad has made new friends here while going to the morning walk and they have proved to be of great help. We got the information about local decorators and caterers from them. Even mum has made friends with our neighbors. My parents seem to be happy in their new settlement. Though sometimes I miss my old town, but overall I am enjoying my stay here.
There is
still a week left for the house warming party and it gives you ample time to
