Sir,

                        We, the resident of [Place name], would like to draw your kind attention to the slow but gradual spread of Covid 19 in our country since March 2020 which is putting a lot of strain on the health care system and the economy. In this regard, we would like to appeal to you to discourage all forms of mass gathering as much as possible in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

                        As you are well aware, once the pandemic enters into community transmission phase, it will be very difficult to trace the contacts of the positive persons and quarantine them. Until and unless we have vaccine available and administered to the public in order to kick in natural herd immunity, the only viable option is to discourage social and mass gathering in order to check the spread of the corona virus. Be it religious, sports, cultural or political, suspension of all sorts of mass gathering is critical in the current situation. Even though our district is in the green zone, we must still be vigilant and the enforcement of discouraging mass gathering must be strictly ensured.
