Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the general public on the danger of using toxic chemicals during the festival of Holi.

Holi is a festival which brings love and joy. It is marked with the use of varieties of gulals which people smear on each other. Earlier people used to use natural colors made from plant parts. But, now days, artificial colors are used which are harmful to the health and environment.

With so many toxic chemicals being used in Holi these days, it is important to be aware of the danger of these chemicals. The chemicals can cause skin rashes, blisters and even skin cancer. It is highly recommended avoid such artificial colors and to use natural substitute.
