Sir/Madam,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the
attention of the general public on the issue of exploitation of teachers in a
privately owned school of our town. It is a shameful act and warrants immediate
attention of the public.
On 5th September, I was shocked to learn from India Times that Don Bosco School of Shanti Nagar locality was engaged in professional malpractice by paying the teachers of their school only one-third of their authorized salaries. The engaged teachers being mostly of middle class background, in absence of alternative jobs, have no other choice but to accept the unlawful arrangement in order to take care of their families.
Such malpractices seriously affect the performance of teachers who feel demotivated and the children are deprived of quality education. By looking after only financial gain, the management has jeopardized the study environment of the school and compromised the future of the students as well as teachers.
I strongly urge and request you to take up the matter and create general awareness among the public by thorough investigation on the case
