Sir/Madam,
I am Swati, a resident of Hisar, Haryana. Through the columns of your popular newspaper, I want to reach out to the general public about the health hazards caused by junk food.
In my early teen, I would consume a lot of junk food as I was not aware of the side effects of these fast food. The fact that they were good to taste as well as readily available also made matter worse.
No doubt junk food is tasty, but it is also associated with a number of critical health diseases like heart ailment, obesity etc. I have been an obese for the last ten years and the big reason for my condition is over consumption of junk food.
After I give up on junk food last year, I saw a remarkable change in my weight due to improved lifestyle. Hence, I appeal to the general public to refrain from consuming junk food as far as possible.
