Subject: Poor sanitary condition of government hospital
Dear Sir/Madam,
I had to visit the ABC government hospital near our locality on 26th April in order to treat my father who had been complaining of severe stomach ache. It is with utter disappointment, I write to you about the poor state of sanitation in the hospital.
The emergency room lacked any proper waste disposal bins. Patients had to use dirty bed sheets as they had not been cleaned regularly. The less we say about the condition of the toilets, the better. There was foul smell in the general ward due to lack of thorough maintenance.
The people of the land, at the least, deserve a clean environment in the government hospital. An unhygienic hospital is more likely to do harm to the patients than good. If such is the sorry state of hygiene, it is better to hand over the hospital to a private entity.
In this context, I humbly request you to kindly pay more attention towards the cleanliness of the government hospital.
Yours truly,
Lokesh
