Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to bring to the attention of the public about my experience of visiting a book fair at Anna grounds, Chennai. The week long book fair which was held from date1 to date2 was organized by National book trust and was a grand success.
I had the good fortune of visiting the book fair along with my friends. I bought an adventure book on Indian mythology. The arrangement for the book fair by the organizers was commendable. There was proper space for parking vehicles, refreshments and setting up book stalls.
The collection of books on display was interesting and extremely diverse. There were all kinds of books ranging from autobiographies, fictional and non fictional stories, thrillers to name a few. It was so heartening to see that, even in this age of internet, young people were flocking the fair to buy books.
I hope my letter finds a place in your popular newspaper so that it can reach a wide audience, encouraging them to visit such fairs in future.
