Dear ABC,

                        I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. As we reach the end of October, another year is on its way to bid goodbye. Keeping in mind the uncertainties of 2020 when we did not celebrate the 31st December, this year we intend to have a get together and celebrate the occasion. 

                        It is going to be a small gathering of our usual five and we intend to start by 6 pm. The star of the menu for dinner is going to be the usual favorite, Chicken masala along with veg biryani, paneer butter masala and some salad. 

                       The marketing of meat, vegetables and drinks is the responsibility of our in-house expert, Ravi. The cooking part will be handled by our chef, Sujata while we contribute as side-kick. Sushmita will look after the interior decoration and selection of party games for the evening. Myself and Narayan are going to clear up the terrace and make arrangements for the makeshift tent and bonfire.

                                 We intend to sneak in a home movie schedule, time permitted. The selection of the movie is yet to be done. But we are definitely not going to miss out on our favorite bingo game. Since Ravi is also having his birthday on the same day, the order for birthday cum new year cake has already been placed by me. Now, only the firecrackers are left to be arranged.

                                     I wish our new year celebration turns out to be a memorable one. I am really excited about it. It would have been much better if you could also join us this year. Since you will not be available on that day due to your work commitment, we have no other option but to do without you.
