Dear ABC,
I
am attempting to write a letter of greeting Happy New Year and surely it isn’t
a piece of cake as it seems initially. Let me start by announcing right at the
outset that I am at a fix writing this letter. What can I possibly write to you
that you already don’t know!
First take my love for being there
with me throughout another full year. You have been such a pillar of strength
for me to fall back and count on anytime. It has been such a pleasure to be in
your company during the entire fun-filled joy ride of a year that last one was.
Life is a continuous learning process and there is so much to learn, relearn
and unlearn, together!
The
last 7 days of every year has always been joyfully hectic and adventurous for
us. There’s Christmas, our birthdays and off course New Year eve. The
preparations, the anticipation and madness were always something special to
look forward to the entire year. I sincerely hope these emotions remain as they
are, intact, year in and year out.
As the
ship of 2016 departs, taking along with it numerous emotional attachments, it
pays a friendly welcome to that of 2017, which promises to bring along with it,
a whole new chapter of life. A chapter, though yet to be written, but with hope
for a brighter tomorrow and I sincerely wish you are a part of it.
