Sample letter of application to the LIC Branch Manager for insurance claim



Everyone wants to look for some kind of insurance to secure their life and the life of their loved ones. There are a host of companies to choose insurance from with variety of policies in offer. The selection of a policy of a particular company depends on the specific needs of the customer. The policy holder has to pay a timely premium amount to the company without fail. The company, on the other hand, has to pay the predetermined amount on the maturity of the policy or in case of death of the policy holder. The policy is also a tax saving option in addition to being a source of money during hard times. 

Generally, the duration of a policy is for a fixed amount of time, say 10 to 30 years. On maturity of the policy, the policy holder is entitled to the claim amount. A letter of intimation has to be communicated to the Branch Manager for the claim amount. This is a simple application letter to the LIC Branch Manager for insurance claim of a matured policy.                               With due respect, I bring to your notice that I had opened a Life Insurance policy in your [LIC, Branch name] dated [Policy opening date]. The policy number is [policy number] which was for a fixed sum of Rs 200000 for a period of 5 years. All my quarterly premiums are cleared as of today.

                             The policy maturity date is close by for insurance claim. Hence, I formally request you to process the official procedure for insurance claim, upon maturity of the policy.  I would be very much happy to oblige any other formalities required by LIC. I would personally visit the company branch and provide any other necessary documents as and when required. In case, the company requires any other clarification, I can be contacted at [mobile number] or by email [email address].

                                It would be a kind gesture on your part if you could clear the matter at the earliest. Kindly acknowledge the receipt of the letter.

  1. Sir Mera name Savin hai. Aur mere paas policy surrender Ka message 8/2/2021 ko Aaya tha lekin abhi tak paise account mein nhin aaye aur Dusri baat ye hai ki Jo paise aayenge wo bhi bahut hi Kam paisa aayega. Kya aap Meri Kuch help kar Sakte hai. Please humble request hai
