bank regarding the issue using an effective letter. This is a simple application

Subject: Application
for dishonoring of cheque
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hold a savings account in your [Bank name, Branch name] since the last
5 years. My account number is [Account number]. I am very much happy and
satisfied with the service of the bank and friendly attitude towards the
customer.
However, it was quite surprising to learn
that a cheque (cheque no.) of mine was dishonored with the remark “insufficient
funds”. It was issued to [Beneficiary Name and Address] on [Date] for Rs
30,000. In this regard, I would like to bring to your notice that I had
deposited a cheque of Rs 50,000 to my account about a month ago. It should have
been credited to my account by the time I issued the cheque to the above
mentioned person. Hence, the reason for dishonoring the aforementioned cheque
is perplexing to me.
I would be grateful if you look into
the matter urgently.
Please acknowledge the receipt of this letter and I am expecting a reply as
soon as possible. Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours faithfully,
