School trips are a common and exciting educational activity where students, usually from a specific grade or class, travel together to visit a place of educational, cultural, or recreational interest. These trips offer students the opportunity to learn outside the traditional classroom setting, engage in hands-on experiences, and foster social interactions among peers. One can also share their experiences with an interested friend to relieve those memories all over again. Given below is a sample letter to a friend about your school trip to Mysore.

Dear ABC,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. Last week, our school arranged a trip to Mysore and today I am writing to you to share my experience of our recent trip. The trip was scheduled for two days and three nights and it was my first trip with friends. I was really excited about it and couldn't wait to explore the beautiful city of Mysore.
We reached school early morning while it was still dark outside. As we waited, we saw a brightly colored bus decorated with lights pulling up to our school. It was our ride for the trip, and we couldn't contain our excitement. The journey started and we were all enjoying ourselves, taking selfies and chatting.
After a few hours on the road, we reached Mysore at 6:00 a.m. We stayed at a booked hotel, got ready, had breakfast, and headed straight to our first destination - Chamundeshwari Temple. We offered our prayers and then headed to our next stop, Mysore Zoo. The zoo was amazing, with beautiful birds and animals like the white peacock, leopard, monkeys, zebra, bear, and elephants.
We had our lunch at 1:30 pm and then saw more animals like the giraffe, Hippo, and snakes. After that, we went to the Mysore Palace. The palace was impressive, and we took a group photograph with all the students. Finally, we visited Brindavan garden and KRS dam. We saw colorful water fountains in the dark, and it was amazing to watch the fountain show.
By the end of the day, we were tired but happy. We had dinner and chatted till late at night with our friends. The next day we woke up early at 5:30 a.m. and headed to Wonderla, where we had thrilling rides and enjoyed ice cream and chats. After that, we were back on the bus to head back to school.
Overall, it was an amazing trip, and I am grateful to have experienced it with my friends. I hope we can plan another trip like this soon.
Yours sincerely,
