Survival benefit is a certain amount of financial benefit given to a policy holder by an insurance company provided the policy holder is alive during or upon completion of the policy period. Sometimes, it may happen that the policy holder may not get the survival benefit within stipulated time period due to some technical difficulties. If one does not receive one’s survival benefit due to some reason, it is required to bring the matter to the notice of the competent authority.
