Subject: Request for arranging fire safety drill in school

Dear Sir/Madam,

I, captain of Class 8, would like to put forward a request on behalf of our class for proper arrangement of fire safety drill in our school. This is an urgent necessity and matter has been pointed out on many occasions in the past.

A fire breakout can be a dangerous event having the potential to cause enormous damage to both lives and property. This is even more so in case of school with hundreds of students. Since the students lack the maturing of an adult, they are likely to be unprepared and clueless in such a scenario.

Hence, it is important to train the students to take safety precautions and act responsibly through fire safety drill. Such drill can familiarize the students with the evacuation process and the sequential steps involved so as to deal with any untoward accident in a matured and measured manner without panicking. Keeping in mind the importance of fire safety drill, I formally request you, on behalf of my class, to kindly make arrangement for fire safety drill in our school for the students.

We would be highly grateful for the consideration.

                                                                                         Yours faithfully
